Set in the near future, our protagonist Rae is living on a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with the last surviving humans on an earth whose surface is fully submerged in water. The ocean, an omnipresent force throughout the story, continually interacts with their lives, disturbing the peace and toying with their mortality.
About Zee
A lifelong New Yorker, Zee Dempster finds inspiration for her storytelling from a variety of sources. The knowledge she acquired from her BS in Computer Science and MA in Government and Politics at St. John’s University, provides the intellectual stimulus for her characters. Music and movies drive her creative engine. Listening to music led her to write song lyrics. Her love of science fiction movies inspired her preferred genre of writing, Speculative Fiction
